Our stay was marred by a lack of soundproofing. the music from a party echoed loudly until the early hours, preventing us from relaxing or enjoying our evening. I attempted to reach the reception for assistance regarding the noise but received no solutions, which left us frustrated. the absence of lifts made our stay more challenging, especially as we were on the second floor with heavy luggage.

Perfect Spot for a Traveler

The staff were incredibly friendly,, and when I needed an unexpected iron for my shirt, they promptly brought one to my room, which was a lifesaver. the shower pressure was fantastic, provided a refreshing wake-up after a long day.

It wasn’t exactly a steal but was still reasonable for what you get.

I was extremely disappointed by the noise levels during my stay. A wedding party was ongoing, causing loud disturbances outside my window until well after 1 AM. the lack of a functioning lift turned my stay into a struggle, especially since I had to navigate stairs to reach my room with heavy luggage.

I enjoyed my stay in a Standard Double Room where the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. The bathroom featured a fantastic, powerful shower, and I loved the modern touches like the stylish tea and coffee facilities. Plus, the location was super convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shops just a minute away!

Really enjoyed my 3-night stay! The staff were super friendly and made check-in a breeze. The room was comfy and clean, perfect for our needs. The bar/lounge was a cool spot to chill after a long day. Only thing was the parking could be a bit tricky at busy times.

The family room featured high-quality furniture and bedding, providing comfort during our one-night stay. The newly updated bathroom was clean and well-maintained. While the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, it would have been nice to have more options for dining, as the available fruit salads lacked variety. The location provided easy access to parking and a lovely garden for relaxing. Unfortunately, the sound insulation was lacking, which affected our rest.

Free parking was great, but the wi-fi in the room was spotty.

staying at hardgate house was a delight. the room was clean and comfortable, making for a cozy stay. the location was perfect for hopping on public transport to get into glasgow city center and also for accessing the national park. it felt safe, which really added to the experience.

would recommend.
